My name is Alison Dunlap and you are at the center of the universe for our website. For those of you that don’t know who I am I’ll quickly fill you in. I am a retired professional cyclist, two-time Olympian, former World Champion, and former National Champion. I am also a proud wife, cook, flutist, and backcountry enthusiast. After eighteen years of competing I decided to retire in 2005 to work full time at my newest endeavor, the Alison Dunlap Adventure Camps.
The Alison Dunlap Adventure Camps was a project my husband and I started in 2003. Under the ADAC name we run two programs: instructional camps and clinics April through October and a full-time coaching business. 2007 was an exciting year for ADAC. We ran over twenty skills clinics and had a hugely successful five day camp in Moab, UT. In 2008 we will start our sixth year of running camps in Moab offering dates in May and October. We are also expanding the number of skills clinics and private clinics offered. And I will again be running race clinics at the National Mountain Bike Series events with the Luna Women’s MTB Team.
It’s going to be an exciting year and we’re looking forward to great adventures, awesome riding, and newfound friendships. Come join me on a cycling adventure. I can show you the techniques and fundamentals of riding a bike. If you’re ready to start racing or want to take your career to another level then I can work with you as a coach. And if you just want information on my racing career then this site is for you as well. Enjoy!
